No technical skill required to apply for PAN Card even if you are beginners.
You can also make changes or correction in PAN Card online.
Apply for PAN card online, you have to visit NSDL or UTIITSL website both websites are authorized by the Government of India to issue the PAN Card. or make changes/correction on PAN on behalf of Income Tax Department on India.
The Online process is hassle-free to apply for PAN Card. you have to visit website fill your details and make a payment of processing fees. documents can be sent by post to NSDL for verification purpose.
Simple Step to apply for PAN Card Online.
Step 1 – Visit the official NSDL website.
here you will found three option, click on Online Application for New PAN (Form 49AA)
Step 2 – Now fill Application type and Applicant information.
You will see three option in Application type as below.
- Application type: Form 49A for Indian Citizen and Form 49AA for Foreign Citizen. as select as per your requirements
- Select category
- Now fill Applicant details like title, full name, date of birth, email and mobile number
- After filling all details click on Submit.
Step 3 – Your request is successfully Registered with Token number xxx will send on your email id. now click on continue with PAN application form.
Step 4 – this has 5 selection. you have to click each tab and enter details. these tabs are:
- Personal Details
- Contact & other details
- AO code
- Document details
Personal Details: are simple to fill but here you will give an option for documents submit selection. I prefer to go with e-KYC or e-Sign. on e-KYC, you have to give only your Aadhar number for verification and no need to send physical documents.
Income Tax Department gives you an option for PAN card with the hard copy or soft copy. if you go with the hard copy then you have to pay Rs.101+GST for e-KYC and Rs.107+GST for the physical mode.
Contact & other details: fill the basic details such as
- Source of Income
- Address of communication
- Residency address/office address
- Mobile number and Email ID
- Representative Assessee
AO code: if you know your AO code simply enter it and go for the next tab but if you don’t know your AO code then you will find an option to find your AO code.
AO code is you are code and word number. you will find your AO code by your name, address, and your income.
Select your State and city and drop down to find your AO code. after getting your code click on Next for the final step.
Document details: enclosed your documents by giving Proof of identity, address, and date of birth. If you select your Aadhar card then no need to send physical documents. now click on submit button and you will be redirected to the payment page.
after making a payment you will get your Acknowledgement number. with this number, you can track your PAN card status with NSDL website.
